DECA Newsletter # 13 provides a summary of Easter week/weekend, 2022 where the major news came from the annual Bryan Clay affair in Azusa. There Arkansas junior Ayden Owens, fresh from his collegiate indoor title, put up an eye-opening 8528 score, a collegaie record if one does not consider the 8539 windy mark by Linden Victor. The Clay meet was deep as Iowa's Austin West assumed the USAA lead (8179) and Oregon's max Vollmer recorded his first '8,' Now a pause as we get a few relays/Invitational marks before plunging into collegiate championship season.
