The new 7921 score erased the 18 year old record of 7577 of  Tiffany Lott-Hogan. DECA Newsletter #29 provide information of the final results of the 2019 Webb Cup competition, emblematic of collegiate decathlon success. The Rams won over 15 scoring colleges/universities with 23 points as Fort Collins, CO seniors Hunter Powell and Nick Kravec paved the way. Wichita State U won the 2018 competition. DECA Newsletter # 28 provides second day coverage of the 50th NCAA D-I decathlon from Austin, Texas. 21 year old Johannes Erm captured the title while running up a PR 8352 effort. No other championship meet (I've seen virtually every one of the 50)  saw weather (storms, lightening, humidity and furnace like temps) negatively impact performances.
