DECA Newsletter #23 offers coverage of the final day (May 13th) of NCAA D-I collegiate conference meets. Michigan's Steven Bastien (left) and Texas' Steele Wasik captured the Big 10 and Big 12 meets as D-I qualifying ended. The final (24th) qualifier for the NCAA nationals was William Dougherty/Iowa. This new Results Page offers details of 41(!) USA decathlons conducted during the first week of May, 2017. This is the first of two consecutive weeks of collegiate conference affairs and next week has another 37 scheduled including most of the power leagues.
