DECA Newsletter # 54 offers current IAAF CE Challenge standings and the start list for the 37th DecaStar decathlon in Talence, France. World champ Ashton Eaton is the lone American entry. The only Americans in the past to have won in Talence have been Dan O'Brien (2x), Steve Fritz, Chris Huffins and Tom Pappas. The decathlon is scheduled for Sat-Sun, Spet 14-15, 2013.
