DECA Newsletter #29 offers 2nd day coverage of the 40th NCAA decathlon (D-I) in Fayetteville, Arkansas. There Oregon junior (Bend, OR-left) won a 2nd consecutive title while setting a record for most running points in a decathlon. Carolina soph Mateo Sossah (8044), Kansas State's Moritz Cleve (7937) and Tennesee's Michael Ayer's all put workmanlike efforts in the books going 1-2-3-4 in a meet where a dozen recorded PR scores.
